Easy Cranberry Sauce

Cranberry Sauce is so simple and fast to make that its become a part of my yearly, traditional "makings".  This year, I've tripled the recipe in hopes to also make a Cranberry topped baked brie!

Here is a simple and delicious traditional Cranberry Sauce:

3 cups of fresh, or frozen cranberries. Thats usually one bag.
1 cup sugar.
1 cup water.
zest of a small orange (optional)

enjoy~

Rinse Fresh Cranberries
Boil sugar and water in a med sauce pot to dissolve the sugar.

Add cranberries.

After a few minutes there skins will start to pop. Stir in orange zest, if using .
Continue to boil another minute more

Remove from heat. Your sauce will thicken more as it cools.
Vanilla Grand Mariner, is optional too!
