Making Raw Almond Milk

Fresh, raw Almond Milk is a delicious, nutritious dairy alternative that is easy to make at home with the help of a blender.

Ingredients:
1 cup raw almonds (organic is nice)
4 cups cold water
pinch of sea salt
1 tsp pure vanilla
1 TBS pure maple syrup

Soak Almond in water for 8 hours or over night. Then drain and rinse the almonds

Add 4 cups of pure and cold water, salt, syrup and vanilla

Blend until your sure you've got a proper milk, a couple of minutes

Pour blended milk into a jug thru a fine sieve. I use my coffee basket

with the back of a spoon, push down the grinds to get out the most milk. empty the basket when needed. This process takes a few minutes. When all the milk is thru, rinse the basket and pour the milk thru again, just to be sure.

You fresh raw almond milk is great alone or in cereal, coffee tea and smoothies. Keep refrigerated and use within a week!

enjoy~
