Magic and Gratitude!

I have enjoyed the most magical of weeks in the studio ever! With my spring sale coming up in just over a week, I've been spending the bulk of my time in the studio. During the day the kids have been playing in the back yard completely in view out of the the studios windows. Perfect! With the weather so nice I decided we would eat our lunch outside on the deck. So, sitting and eating I noticed a butterfly and immediately felt happy! It looked like a small Monarch. And then I noticed another, and another and then I noticed 6 butterflies on my studio windows! I ran in to get my iPad to take some pictures and when I came out I felt as if I was in a swarm of these beautiful winged friends. I laughed out loud with the kids, me laughing harder and my whole body felt alive. I've never had an experience with nature like that before. Followed by the tingling of joy that rippled thru me I felt this huge swell of sincere gratitude. I realized how amazing and magical life is and how much I love my "work"!
Today while drawing and glazing I noticed the butterflies again and the dancing shadows they cast in my space as the flew back and forth. They were with me my entire studio session, inspiring my every brush stroke!
Best time ever!
