A day at the berry patch and making jam

I kicked off the long weekend enjoying a lovely day with my family picking enough berries to make a couple of cases of Ontario strawberry Jam! Although worth every effort, we spent a few hours or more hulling, mashing, stirring and jarring. Our fingers stained a playful red, the sweet smell of crushed berries wafting in the breeze, and the joy of wholesome pleasure makes this annual event a magical treat!

This year we ventured to twinkle berry farm, and it was as delightful as it sounds!

My favorite jammy treat is vanilla ice cream with strawberry jam mixed in!
