After 10 years of using our Denby stone wear dishes, in greens and oranges, I've been craving WHITE DISHES. after my last holiday sale I decided I would commit my time in the new year to making table wear just for me! I was so excited unloading the kiln today seeing all the fresh, gleaming whites. I think I set the table for our family dinner at 10:00am this morning!
Working with white was an interesting experience. I found that I was trying to convince my self to do something creative, to use colour, that white was too easy, or a cop out or something, like not risky. But I really wanted white, so it was clearly the only option!
We had our first dinner with our new plates and bowls tonight and it was perfect! I'm so happy!
