I noticed that anthro was having a "story time" on Saturday and Sunday and Mom and I thought it would be something really fun to take the kids to. We spontaneously made the decision to go on Sat, an hour before it started. We packed up the kids and arrived just as the lovely story lady was setting up. She made a cozy circle in the middle of the store, complete with a selection of their stuffed animals and her homemade cookies! She even let them sit on one of the display beds. As it turns out, my 3 were the only children participating. She had them completely enthralled for over an hour. They read story after story, talked as they ate her entire plate of cookies. She was nice! I was able to shop, try things on, AND let the kids have fun! A lot of the times, I feel guilty for going out shopping or doing something fun for myself. Thats silly, I know, but not this time!!
