Embellishing felted slippers

Here are my latest felted slippers for spring.

 Ive been playing with embellishments and here I've used buttons, felt and cut outs of leaves from a pillow case. I found that by sewing the buttons and leaves onto the felt first, then sewing that entire embellishment onto the slippers was easy and way more secure.

I had made a couple of pairs for friends where I sewed a happy cluster of buttons, one at a time onto the slipper. Both friends let me know just how quickly the buttons popped off!

so SPRING, and cute as a button!!
