Everything Lora: Me, Music and the Good Lovelies tonight

My love for music has always been a loyal constant thru out my life, whether singing in the car, fiddling in the kitchen, falling asleep to a song on repeat or enjoying festivals and concerts. Music has always been there for me as a transformational tool, or motivational, inspirational, for soothing comfort and escape. I love the way a song can set the backdrop of choice to any day or situation, creating just what you need and just when you need it. Push button perfection!
I used to love catching a live show, so much in fact that I almost married one of the very talented and sexy musicians I used to follow. How I got from there to here is another story all together, 1000 times more fantastic!
While the late nights and pleasurable indulgences didn't fit so well under my "mother hat", I now enjoy festivals and performances occasionally when it works, like tonight. The CANADIAN folk trio THE GOOD LOVELIES are playing close to home and I've got a pair of tickets, a dress and some cowgirl boots perfect for the occasion!
