Visit your local farmers Market

Market season is back! Parks and parking lots transformed into vibrant stalls teaming with local produce, handmade foods, gorgeous flowers, featured works from local artists and really good coffee!
It's not just "something to do" on a Saturday morning, it's a conscious decision and commitment to participate in the healthiest version of your self. You have the opportunity to engage with YOUR community of local farmers who grow YOUR food. It becomes personal.
When I visit the market, engage with the growers and buy the fresh ingredients to make that nights dinner, SOMETHING MAGICAL HAPPENS. Health benefits (globally and personally), gratitude, life and reverence are present.
I put a lot more care into preparing the food and making sure it is presented as beautiful as possible. The family comes together a little bit closer.
When we eat beautiful foods, we chose to see the beauty in all things. When we put loving care into the process of eating, we care more about ourselves and the world.

Slowing down and participating in the whole process of eating invites your whole-being to the table! The ripple effect is profound.

So, get out there and visit your local market this weekend!

Love,
Lora
