Silence Soup

I had one of those days yesterday where I was here, there and everywhere except home. I really wanted to get to my turkey stock and soup and thought that if I started the stock in the morning on the stove, then it would be ready after school when I got home and could make the soup for dinner. And that's what I did. But, something interesting happened along the way.
You know that feeling you get when you know you've left the stove on but you're not home for hours? You often think and wonder about it, right? All I kept wondering was, if the stock was happy to be home alone enjoying the rare peace and quite of the house, able to do its thing uninterrupted, silently simmering away, observed by no one. I suppose that's exactly the energy it was infused with, at least that's what came to mind during my lunch of Turkey Soup today, in the rare peace and quite of my house. My youngest had a last minute play date at a friends and there I was enjoying my silence soup, observed by no one!
 Intention in is fruition out.

enjoy~
