I've been making this smoothie for my breakfast for the last month or so! Berries are a wonderful low glycemic fruit that won't trigger an insulin response. When you add oils, seeds or nuts you tend not to get hungry for a couple hours, so as far as liquid meals go, this one is pretty hearty!
1 frozen small banana
3-4 fresh strawberries
1 handful fresh blueberries
1 handful Baby kale and baby spinach
1-2 tbs flax seeds
1 tbs hemp seed oil
1 cup raw unsweetened almond milk
Blend until smooth! Enjoy
